Ok, so taking the challenge not to use single-use plastic for the past two weeks made me deeply aware of how serious our problem with plastic has become. You almost cannot walk into a cafeteria style restaurant without using a piece of single use plastic. No yogurt. No drinks. Most of our food is packaged in single-use plastic. When you consider that every one of those billions of pieces of plastic has nowhere to go after we use it…ug…ug…what were we thinking?
